Last updated: 6 November 2026

Who we are

Printech (Europe) Ltd is the data controller for the personal information described in this notice. Our address is 3 Victory Close, Wickford, Essex, SS11 8YW. Contact us about privacy at enquiries@printecheurope.com or call 01245 506066.

Information we collect

When you complete our enquiry form or contact us by email or phone, we may receive your name, company, email address, telephone number, deadlines, project details and any information you choose to include in your brief. If you become a customer, we may also process business contact details, order and delivery information, artwork-related correspondence and billing records. Our website hosting provider may process technical information such as IP addresses and request logs for security and operation of the website.

Please avoid including sensitive personal information in a print enquiry unless it is necessary and you have agreed an appropriate way to share it with us.

Why we use information and our lawful bases

We use enquiry details to reply, prepare quotations, discuss specifications and manage potential projects. We generally rely on our legitimate interests in responding to business enquiries, or on taking steps towards a contract where applicable. We use customer and order information to deliver contracted services, and retain records where required to meet legal obligations, including accounting and tax obligations. We also use necessary technical information to operate and secure our website, relying on legitimate interests where applicable.

We may contact existing business customers about relevant services where the law permits. You can object to direct marketing at any time by contacting us. We will not add someone to an email marketing list simply because they submitted an enquiry; any mailing activity must meet applicable marketing rules.

Who we share information with

We use service providers to operate the website and handle enquiries, including Cloudflare for hosting and website delivery, Resend to transmit enquiry emails, and Microsoft 365 for business email. We may share necessary project information with printers, finishers, couriers or other production partners where this is needed to quote for or deliver requested work, under appropriate arrangements. We do not sell your personal information.

Transfers outside the UK

Some service providers or partners may process information outside the UK. Where UK data protection law requires safeguards for a transfer, we use applicable legal mechanisms, such as recognised adequacy arrangements or approved contractual safeguards. Contact us if you need further information about safeguards relevant to your information.

How long we keep information

We keep enquiries for as long as reasonably necessary to respond and manage any resulting business relationship. For enquiries that do not lead to work, we review whether the information is still needed and remove it when there is no continuing business or legal reason to retain it. Contract, transaction and accounting records may need to be kept for longer to meet tax, legal and record-keeping requirements. The period depends on the nature of the information, our relationship with you and any applicable legal duties.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct or erase your personal information, restrict or object to certain processing, and receive a portable copy of some information. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent. You have the right to object to processing for direct marketing at any time.

To make a request, email enquiries@printecheurope.com. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK data protection regulator.

Providing information

The name, email address and project description fields on our enquiry form are required so we can respond meaningfully; other fields are optional. You are not legally obliged to send us a website enquiry, but without those details we may not be able to reply or provide a quotation.

Cookies and website security

Our website and infrastructure may use essential technical measures needed to deliver and protect the site. If optional analytics or marketing cookies are introduced, we will review this notice and provide appropriate information and controls before using them where required.

Changes to this policy

We may update this notice to reflect changes to our services or how information is handled. The latest version will appear on this page with an updated date.
